Here is the full programme and timetable for the Alexandra Park Celebration 30-31st of August.

A big thank you goes out to everybody on the Celebration Committee who has put in their time for free to make this event happen.

Festivities start from 10am and include activities for all the family, such as wildlife walks and pond dipping, face painting and arts and crafts. There will be music to entertain and historical characters in the park to bring the park's history to life. The new tennis facilities will be offering a free programme of activities and in the lodge house you can find out about local history, whilst the pavilion will be offering some light refreshments.

£5million has been invested into the park through Manchester City Council, the Heritage Lottery Fund, the English Cricket Board, the Lawn Tennis Association and Sport England.
