We are delighted to be collaborating with Cultureword and it's artistic director Peter Kalu, in connection with our Performance Corner. At the #AlexParkMCR's Celebration weekender on the 30-31st of August.
Cultureword is one of the strands of Commonword. It was established in 1986 as a centre for Black creative writing in the North West of England. It has achieved national renown for discovering, developing and promoting Asian, African Caribbean and Chinese writers.
Peter Kalu is well known as a poet, novelist, playwright and script writer. He started writing as a member of the Moss Side Write Black writers workshop and has had five novels, two film scripts and three theatre plays produced to date.
