Alexandra Arts is delighted to announce that this year's programme, Pankhurst in the Park, is funded by the Arts Council of England's Grants for the Arts

Running until the end of November 2014, our programme started with us taking part in the 'Celebration Weekender' on the 30-31th of August, the official opening of the newly restored Alexandra Park.

Pankhurst in the Park takes inspiration from the Park's rich heritage connected to Iconic Suffragette, Emmeline Pankhurst. It will include an International Artist Residency intertwined with a programme of on-line activity, artist talks and installations situated in and around the Park’s Pavilion.

It will also be accompanied by an integrated arts education programme with investing partner St Mary's Primary School in Moss Side.
